My name is William Hill and I am the founder of Opus, a burgeoning platform dedicated to showcasing and promoting BIPOC-owned home goods and furniture studios. I’ve had a lifelong affinity for design cultivated through my passion for architecture, fashion, and furniture design.

Driven by a deep appreciation for the balance of artistry and functionality, my interest in the world of furniture began with a fascination for the structural elegance of architecture. The expressive power of fashion through the manipulation of different fabrics and materials also led me to an interest in furniture design.  These diverse influences have not only shaped my aesthetic sensibilities but have also fueled my commitment to celebrating the creativity and cultural richness the BIPOC community brings to the home goods, furniture, and interior design industries.

I am currently pursuing a degree in Advertising and Marketing Communications at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). I am dedicated to honing my skills in brand development, storytelling, and digital marketing strategies. I am on a mission to amplify the voices of BIPOC-founded furniture designers and home artisans, creating a platform to showcase their talent, share their stories, and connect with a community of design enthusiasts. With a firm belief in the power of creativity to inspire, uplift, and unite, I am committed to fostering a space where diversity, innovation, and craftsmanship thrive.
